Steel Poles
Put the light where the plan needs it.
Straight steel poles, round or square, 10 to 30 ft or cut to a height in between. An anchor base pole ships as a kit: four L‑hook anchor bolts, a positioning plate, a two‑piece base cover and a rainproof top cap. A direct burial pole sets 3 or 5 ft into the ground. Tenon adaptors, multi-head adaptors and bullhorns put one to four heads on top. Choose it by EPA at the site’s wind speed, 80 to 150 mph.

Model Specifications
EPA = maximum ft² at 90 mph, 1.3 gust factor; every speed from 80 to 150 mph is in EPA Ratings. Model = the first part of the catalog number. Custom height: add /CL## (finished height, ft) to the next taller pole; it is cut from the top at an added charge and keeps that pole’s EPA.

EPA Ratings
Maximum EPA in ft² at each basic wind speed, 1.3 gust factor. Enter what the pole carries and the site’s wind speed; every pole that holds it is marked.
— = not rated at that speed. A rating at a higher wind speed also holds at a lower one. A custom-height pole takes the rating of the standard pole it is cut from. Bracket EPA is not published, so leave margin for it. Foundation size, depth and reinforcement are by the project engineer of record.
Tenons, Bullhorns & Brackets
Each part is its own order line. A multi-head adaptor, a bullhorn or the yoke adaptor sits on the tenon adaptor, so order both. Bullhorn sizes are not published: ask ALG to confirm the fit with your fixture before you order. Count every head and bracket toward the pole’s EPA.

Foundations are by others. Check the pole’s EPA at the site’s wind speed before you order.

Pole & Site Lighting Family
The poles carry the outdoor heads. Liberty slips onto a tenon or bolts to an arm; Symmetry and Unity sit on a pole top through the same tenon adaptors.

Send us the site plan.
We run the layout free and send it back in three business days — fixture count, spacing, foot-candles.
Pick it by wind speed.
Add the EPA of every head, bracket and adaptor, read the site’s basic wind speed from the governing code map, and choose a pole rated at or above the total.
